Easy Returns, No Worries:
Cameras 4 Africa only sells pre-owned gear, and we stick to the rules of the Consumer Protection Act to keep things fair and simple.

If You Want to Return Something:

You’ve got 10 days from when you get your item to return or swap it. Just make sure you still have the original invoice. If it's past 10 days, we might need to charge a small restocking fee.

• The item must be in the same condition you got it — no extra wear or damage.
• Pack it well in a box and include your invoice inside.

Bought Something That Doesn’t Work for You?

If you told us what you needed when ordering and we confirmed the item would work, but it doesn't, you can return it within 10 working days.

If Something Breaks or Has a Problem:

We don’t fix items ourselves, but if something you bought breaks within 6 months, we’ll look at the situation and might refund or swap it, depending on its condition and warranty.

If the item has a valid manufacturer’s warranty, we’ll help send it to the manufacturer for repair. They’ll decide if it’s covered and what happens next.

If there’s no warranty, we can’t fix it — but we’ll help you find a place that can.

When the Warranty Won’t Work:

The warranty won’t count if the problem was caused by:

• Lightning or power surges
• Misuse or rough handling
• Using it for the wrong thing
• Not following the manual
• Accidents

Getting Your Money Back:

If your return is approved, you’ll get your money back the same way you paid:

• EFT: takes about 48 hours
• Credit card: might take a few days depending on the bank

Need Help Fixing Something Without a Warranty?

We don’t do out-of-warranty repairs, but we can point you to someone who can.

How to Return an Online Order:

You’ve got 10 business days to request a return. Here’s how:

1. Email support@cameras4africa.co.za to start the return.
2. We’ll confirm and arrange a courier pickup (e.g. Aramex). If it’s after 11 AM, pickup happens the next business day.
3. Once we get and check the item, we’ll confirm and start the refund or exchange.
4. For card payments, we’ll refund the card. For EFT, we’ll need your banking details. Expect your refund in 3–5 working days.
5. For exchanges, we’ll send the new item and give you tracking info.
